New Golf Equipment Auction
Web Site Beats the Counterfeiters - 'If it's Jam it's Genuine' |
|
Keen golfers seeking a
new set of golf clubs and golfing accessories can now benefit from online
auction prices without the worry of counterfeit goods. Set up by
Jam Auctions features only
authorized resellers of branded golf equipment to guarantee goods are
genuine and of top quality.
The web site has been created by golf enthusiasts Jeremy Tomlinson and
Andrew Fothergill. There can be a significant risk of unknowingly buying
counterfeit golf equipment on some online auctions - you only have to
Google 'golf counterfeiting' to see the scale of the problem. Jeremy
Tomlinson and Andrew Fothergill thought there had to be a better way, so
they created jamgolf.com.
Most of the big brands will be available on the site: Odyssey, Taylor
Made, Callaway, Cleveland, Yonex and more. Registration is free and users
can immediately go about bidding in the knowledge that the legitimate
sellers of branded golf clubs are pre-vetted.
The beauty of the site is that it is run by golfers for golfers. Without
the clutter of the mixed goods that feature on other auction sites, means
jamgolf.com is very easy to navigate and use. Whether someone is a pro,
semi-pro, keen amateur or golf novice, they will find the authentic golf
equipment they need.
Besides having no residual value when traded in, fake golf clubs have one
other disastrous drawback for the golfer - they negatively affect their
game. Fake copies are usually made from inferior materials and without the
care that goes into genuine golf club manufacture. After all, the makers
of branded golf clubs spend millions on research and development to
perfect their products.

EnQii Signs Partnership with
Ping Mobile - Partnerships Advances "New Media Triad" with Mobile Phone
Interactivity |
|
|
|
EnQii N.A. president
Stuart Armstrong says that the "new media triad" represents a digital
on-ramp for consumers to opt-in to branded communities, and is a powerful
new way for media owners, brands and retailers to engage shoppers.
Ping Mobile's technology enables users to opt-in to receive specific kinds
of information and related promotional offers. For example, a diabetic
might subscribe to special diabetes-related text alerts and then also
receive relevant coupons for discounts on related products.
Ping Mobiles' high conversion rates with SMS (text messaging) distribution
are a testament that the right messages are being sent to the right
consumers. A double opt-in process secures the privacy of the shopper and
eliminates "in your face, intrusive advertising." |

Envision Creative Group
Chosen Gives Back |
|
Envision Creative Group,
a full-service Austin based graphic design and advertising agency, is
rewarding all employees for it’s 2007 success with a trip to Mexico. In
2007 Envision more than doubled its revenue over 2006 and David Smith,
President and owner of Envision Creative Group, has decided that the
reason for the large amount of growth was the hard work and dedication of
all of his employees. Therefore, a trip to Tulum, Mexico is in the very
near future.
Mr. Smith has booked several cabanas at a small resort on the beach to
reward his hard working employees with a little relaxation. Each employee
will bring their significant other and stay for five days and four nights
with no meetings or responsibilities. “My employees are extremely
dedicated to the success of our clients and because of that we had an
incredible year. The great thing is, we didn’t even raise our prices. We
just started working with a lot of great new clients.”
New goals have been set for 2008 as Mr. Smith would like to reward his
employees every year. The goal is not as aggressive as doubling in revenue
over 2007 but it is enough to justify the trip, and keep everyone focused
on the same goals. According to Mr. Smith, that goal is to "make our
clients successful. When our clients make money they will always want to
continue to work with us." |

Heavy Rebates Impact
IntelliChoice.com's Best New Car Deals for May |
|
IntelliChoice.com, the leading
source for automotive ownership cost and value analysis, today announced
its “Best Deals of the Month” for cars, trucks, and SUVs for the month of
May, 2008. Once again, big car rebates play a major role in determining
which vehicles give car buyers the most bang for their buck.
"The
cars that we have identified as best deals for consumers are changing from
month to month largely due to all of the new cash on the hood we are
seeing,” said James Bell, publisher and editor of IntelliChoice.com.
"There are some amazing rebates on some larger cars, all SUVs and many
trucks. Rising gas prices and reluctant consumers are really starting to
impact the industry.”
“The
thing to know about auto rebates is that they can fluctuate heavily from
month to month and week to week,” said Bell. “Today's car buyer is wise to
check out the most recent rebates before making any decisions. For
example, there are vehicles that we rarely see on our Best Deals list,
such as the Isuzu Ascender with a $7,000 rebate this month, and the Nissan
Quest minivan with a $3,500 rebate. Plus, the rebates we are seeing on
certain full-size trucks are extraordinary. Note that the Dodge Ram wins
all but one of May's full size truck categories.”
Bell also noted
that with gas prices so high, the Best Deals for May include a who’s who
of well-known small cars, but even smaller cars are not immune to the car
rebate factor. Bell said, “In the subcompact class, the MINI Cooper
Hatchback beats the Toyota Yaris Hatchback because there is no rebate on
the Yaris.” |
